How to Use the Advanced Pickleball Scoresheet App
The Pickleball Scoresheet app requires a human scorekeeper to watch the match and input data. Begin by starting a new game and entering in player and match information.
Once the game begins, the scorekeeper taps the rally button each time the ball is hit. When the rally ends, the scorekeeper taps the arrow button in order to input data about the last shot including the player, shot type, and winner/unforced error. You may also select where the player’s position on the court to generate shot charts and enter text notes as needed.
Then, submit the rally and start again. The match is saved after each rally is submitted. The app will automatically keep score and servers.
And that’s it! With these simple data points, the app does the rest and produces detailed scoresheets of match and player statistics in real time. A few of these statistics include:
- Shots (match and player stats)
- Team and player performance (winners vs errors)
- Match, game, and rally duration and shot length
- Unforced errors and winners analysis by shot types (dink, drive, etc)
- Match and score history with individual rally entries
- Court position shot charts
- And much, much more!
At the end of the match, scoresheets can be downloaded, copied to your device’s clipboard, or printed.
